Deliveries National & International
We deliver nationally and internationally. Shipping is carried out by fast and reliable couriers, selected on the basis of the volume of products and the geographical area of destination.
By default, the products are delivered at the main door on the ground floor. Would you prefer your purchase to be delivered to your home unpacked and, if applicable, assembled?
Let us know and we will take care of this service for you at an additional cost.
Delivery charges calculated for your order are automatically displayed in the order summary during checkout.
Delivery methods
Delivery to your address:
Our courier service delivers standard from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at street level and without prior notice, with the exception of the shipping of bulky products.
In the absence of the recipient, the courier will leave a message to confirm the delivery attempt. On the message you will find the contact details of the courier to make an appointment for the second delivery attempt or to know the address of the nearest branch.
If you have not contacted the courier within three days of the first delivery attempt, the package will remain in storage with the courier for 14 days. If the product is not collected during the storage period, the product will be returned to us and the contract will be considered terminated.
The Design Lover will reimburse you for the amount of the ordered item, after deduction of the costs of delivery of the ordered product, the costs of storage and the costs of returning it to the sender.

Of course, you can’t always be home to receive a package. With Delivery Manager, you can adjust the delivery date and location at no additional cost.

How does Delivery Manager work?
As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email from The Design Lover containing the tracking code and tracking link.
The recipient can use the link to check the delivery status and, if desired, change the delivery date and/or location.
Once the details have been changed, the recipient will receive confirmation by email or text message. On the day of delivery, they will also receive a reminder that the parcel is on its way.
The Design Lover uses the services of various reputable courier companies. The courier is selected based on the destination, dimensions, weight and contents of the parcel.

Delivery Europe
Delivery is free in Europe for orders over EUR 185 (Except: Italy & Cyprus)
For orders under EUR 185 delivery costs will be charged.
We apply three different shipping rates for deliveries in Europe.

- large-heavy parcel EUR 22,50

Delivery is free in Italy for orders over EUR 150
For orders under EUR 150 delivery costs will be charged.

Delivery Switzerland
Delivery is free in Switzerland for orders over EUR 245

Note: Due to UK tax rules we only accept orders from the UK from 145 GBP / 175 EUR excluding shipping costs.
Note: Please note that as a customer in the UK, you have a VAT obligation. You will be charged the local VAT rate on the order value. The courier company will charge this to you for delivery.
Delivery Cyprus
Delivery is free in Cyprus for orders over EUR 245
For orders under EUR 245 delivery costs will be charged.

Delivery Middle East
For deliveries in the Middle East we apply three different shipping rates.

The United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are included in the Middle East list by default. Transport costs for other Middle East countries are on request.
Import duties and Taxes
If import duties and/or taxes are charged for import into your country, these are not included in the delivery costs and are the customer’s responsibility.
The indicated expected delivery times may vary slightly for countries outside the EU due to customs formalities.
All prices on our website should be considered consumer prices including the current high Italian VAT rate (22%).
Due to the legal corporate form with which The Design Lover is registered in the trade register in Italy, it is not possible to offer an invoice with VAT deduction.
The Design Lover makes use of a “Flat-rate scheme”.

Delivery Intercontinental
On request we can organize any Intercontinental delivery.
If your country is not included in our delivery list by default, please fill in our shipping quote form and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a personal quotation.
When will my order be delivered
An indicative delivery time is indicated in the product details for each product.
After receipt and processing of your order, we will inform you by e-mail about a more exact delivery time.
We do our best to deliver your order at the specified time, but cannot always guarantee this because we also depend on the planning of suppliers and the delivery service.
If the delivery time changes, we will notify you immediately.
The order will be shipped when all products are available. If you have placed an order that contains products with different delivery times, you can submit a request to our customer service to ship the products which are already available.
Bulky Products
Large and / or heavy parcels weighing more than 15 kg or measuring more than 60 wide x 60 deep x 60 cm high are charged at the standard plus rate.
This statement of weight and dimensions is indicative and no rights can be derived from it.
Returns & Refunds
Our customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement (for items that are not damaged), without giving reasons and without paying any penalties, within 21 days from the day of receipt of the goods by the consumer.
Only the shipping costs for returning the goods are at the expense of the customer.
Products that are specially ordered at the customer’s request are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, we ask you to inform us by sending us the withdrawal form via email. As soon as we have received your form, we will create a return shipping label for your product. You will be notified by email with the shipping label. This allows you to drop off the product at your nearest courier service point for shipment.
If possible, we ask you to return the goods in their original packaging.
Once the return has been received in good condition,
the amount you paid will be refunded, excluding return shipping costs.
These refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
