Design Ellen Ehk Åkesson for Kosta Boda

Ellen Ehk Åkesson is a Swedish glass artist who tells stories of the mysterious forest through her art glass, such as Berry Tales. A bubbling, bulbous berry plucked directly from the woodlands in her mind. The object in crystal glass is mouth-blown at Kosta Glassworks and the berry’s shiny finish is the result of being heated with a blowtorch.

Items from the Kosta Boda Artist Collection are handmade and thus each product is unique.
