Description
Figurine Miffy XL design Royal Delft
Miffy (Nijntje in dutch) is the iconic bunny once conceived by Dutch author Dick Bruna for his son.
Miffy has now reached the respectable age of 70 and is known all over the world.
Royal Delft is celebrating this special birthday with a hand-painted XL version of Miffy. Royal Delft’s artisans have created a special work of art, as if Miffy herself had walked through a Delft Blue plate. The distinctive Delft Blue patterns have been enlarged and hand-painted, resulting in a stunning 39-cm-high eye-catcher.
This unique version has been released in a limited edition of only 70 pieces with unique gold details.
The gold details are inspired by the logo of the Sickle Cell Fund. Part of the proceeds of this exclusive edition will be donated to the foundation, which means buyers not only bring an artistic and valuable object into their homes, but also contribute to a good cause.
